URGENT
Wordsmiths. Songwriters. Musicians.
America needs you.
THE PROBLEM
Silicon Valley built machines that siphon money from our communities and pay nothing back.
They gave our kids anxiety and depression and called it "engagement."
Now they use bots and algorithms to make us believe we hate each other.
“We certainly disagree.
But we are still
AMERICANS.”
REMEMBER WHO WE ARE
We are the children and grandchildren of those who defended the free world in World War II. We have issues with our past, with this land, with our future—
But it's OURS.
THE MISSION
Let's show them what a dose of cooperation and non-algorithmic singing in the streets can do for the human soul.
The fighting will be much harder work than figuring out how to get along.
THE REAL ASK
We're asking you to do something genuinely hard: step into the shoes of someone on the other side of the political divide and write them a love song.
Every instinct, every algorithm, every headline has trained you to believe they're worthless. But deep down, we know better.
It's okay to disagree—fiercely, even—so long as civil rights and a free America preserve the fundamental nature of our nation: the melting pot of the world.
Nations around the globe speak our language out of reverence, honor, and economic opportunity.Let's not let that turn into fear.
HOW TO CONTRIBUTE
Original songs are A+. Dig deep. Find empathy. Create something that could change a mind—or at least open a heart.
Know a song that could be a mantra for rebuilding? You can recommend existing tracks that capture the spirit we need.
IMPORTANT
Here's the thing: we don't publish any of it ourselves. For us to have the right to share your music on this platform, artists need to upload and donate their tracks directly.
Without artists coming forward, we'll have nothing to play here.
You keep all rights to your work. You just give us permission to stream it in service of this mission.
TIME IS RUNNING OUT
Make the truth catchy.
Show how much love we can have when we need it.
Join us before it's too late.
“In times of division, the bards have always sung us back together.”
